On Sunday, October 20, LMTA held it's annual Honors Recital. The recital featured students who received a performance rating of Superior and also scored above 85% on a theory exam at the Dorothy Sutton Performance Festival, which was held on October 6.
Each student played the two pieces they performed for the judge at the festival. The program included a variety of pieces that ranged from Baroque to Modern and included composers such as J.S. Bach, George Handel, Robert Schumann, Dmitri Kabalevsky, Nancy Faber and Melody Bober.
Congratulations to all 19 students who earned Superior ratings and qualify for the State Showcase Recital in Penn State on November 23!
